MediCampus Europeo in Manchester: meeting future medical students interested in studying Medicine in Malta
On Sunday, 22 March 2026, MediCampus Europeo took part in the MedConnect Europe Open Day in Manchester, an important opportunity to meet prospective students interested in studying Medicine abroad and exploring international pathways in medical education.
For the MCE team, the event was a valuable and rewarding experience. Throughout the day, Madlena had the opportunity to meet many motivated students who are currently considering their future in Medicine and looking for clear, practical information about studying Medicine in Malta.
One of the most relevant themes that emerged during the event was the strong interest in an admissions pathway that feels more accessible and less stressful for students. For many attendees, learning that the MediCampus Europeo admission process does not require the UCAT was a genuine source of reassurance. In a context where many students feel pressure and uncertainty around competitive entry routes, discovering an alternative pathway to a Medicine programme in Malta brought clarity and peace of mind.
The conversations in Manchester confirmed once again how important it is for future medical students to have direct access to reliable guidance, transparent information, and supportive academic options. Many of the students we met were eager to learn more not only about the academic structure of the programme, but also about student life in Malta, the international environment, and the overall experience of studying Medicine at MCE.
Events like MedConnect are especially valuable because they create a space where students can ask questions openly, compare options, and better understand what kind of university path may be right for them.
We would like to sincerely thank MedConnect for the excellent organisation of the fair and for creating such a well-structured initiative for students exploring their future in Medicine.
