Clinical Training Pathway: from early exposure to clinical placements

From Year 1

Students have the opportunity to participate in optional, non-curricular nursing activities, helping them bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world healthcare practice.

From Year 3

Students can complete clinical internships at partner hospitals within MCE’s network of affiliated teaching hospitals.

UMBAL University Hospital "Prof. Dr. Stoyan Kirkovich" is one of Bulgaria's leading university hospitals and serves as a key clinical training centre for medical students.

Through MCE's partnership with the hospital, students have the opportunity to begin their core clinical rotations from Year 3 onwards in a multidisciplinary hospital environment. Here, they gain hands-on experience by working with real patients under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals.
