
Prof. Atanasova- Dimitrova, PhD
Dimitrinka Atanasova-Dimitrova, PhD, is Professor of Morphology at the Faculty of Medicine of Trakia University and Associate Professor at the Institute of Neurobiology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on neuromorphology, the central nervous system, neurogenesis, ageing, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, using histological, immunocytochemical, immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy techniques.
