Former Senior Editor at The Lancet – eClinicalMedicine, responsible for early clinical research submissions and peer-review quality.

Former Scientific Editor at Spandidos Publications, working on oncology and biomedical manuscripts.

Experience in manuscript assessment, peer-review coordination, copy-editing and communication with authors and researchers.

Copy-editing support for Xjenza Online, the peer-reviewed journal of the Malta Chamber of Scientists.

Science Communication and Project Management

Management of the Erasmus+ project Wired Youth: Science Forum.

Development of communication and marketing strategies, coordination of international partners and management of project timelines and budgets.

Leadership of CineXjenza, a monthly public science-outreach initiative.

Organisation of events, training sessions and international workshops.

Preparation of project reports, evaluation data and risk-management documentation.

Student Support and Mentoring

Mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students during laboratory activities and placements.

Providing individual tutoring and educational consultancy to students from different age groups and backgrounds.
